In which we discuss Robert's guts, Edith's ...um metaphorical guts, and Mary's growing....guts about whether or not to go after the very gutsy Matthew Goode('s character).
This is PART 2 of episode 5, stay tuned for the exciting PART 1!!!!! This episode has guest Jen Chaney, part 1 features Hadas.

This is PART 1 of episode 5, stay tuned for the exciting PART 2!!!!! This episode has guest Hadas, part 2 features Jen Chaney.
In which we, or rather I, discuss episode 4, Anna's babymaker repairs, Dowager dick jokes, returning Matthew "Gooder than Crawley," Goode, Daisy's seething loyalty to Mr. Mason, and I voice my harsh feelings about stupid stupid Mr. Mosley.
ALSO, I offer up my psychotherapist services by offering a diagnosis of Thomas Barrow, my favorite character.
Don't just take this nonsense lying down! Tweet at me, let me know of your deep thoughtful agreement with my opinions, or perhaps your hasty, ill-conceived disagreement: @nodownton
In which we discuss the Downton servant nuptials, feeling bad for Thomas (gasp), Edith's kick-assery with a dude in tow, and other factors of life in a universe in which we are quickly nearing a time where there truly Ain't No Downton!!!!! With special guest Hadas Ben-Tsur of Common Room Podcast.
In which we discuss the dynamics of baby making problems, more trouble for Bates & Anna, Thomas' job troubles, and the impending snatching of a certain Marigold. Jen Chaney rides to the rescue of my insights again.
In which we discuss season premire of the final season (shudder sob shudder, meh, well-ok). Jen Chaney, well known writer and journalist, and loving snarker of Downton for seasons and seasons now joins the conversation.
Theresa discusses her latest creation "Poor Old Edith," a comedic murder mystery done as a satirical reimagining of our favorite fictional universe: Downton Abbey! She discusses the nature of her creative endeavors, how to make Downton even more funny, her penchant for creating plays that allow her to cast herself as her favorite characters, and stumps me with a piece of Downton trivia! Enjoy!
In which we summarize and celebrate the grand finale of Downton! We love the way it ends, spoiler alert...although we have some drama about Mary, some ideas about the Dowager Mysteries series Dwight wants to begin, and the mysterious "Pernicious Anemia," that seems to suddenly disappear. Hmmm.
In which I review episode 8, almost the end of Downton as we know it. Yelling at Mary is good to hear, but we are slashing through these like an underbutler cutting his wrists (too soon?). Stay tuned for our big finale episode on Tuesday with Jen Chaney and Hadas!
In which I review episode 7, where dead buddies of Henry Talbot mess up his chances with Mary (maaaaybe), fake hand injuries put Karson in his place, and Robert gets a new dog. All of this of course paling to the most ultimate of Dowager Countess mic drops....BAM!
Also I read some of your suggestions about Downton Abbey spinoffs. Tweet more of these @nodownton and/or under the hastag: #DowntonSpinoffs
In which we discuss Daisy's immaturity, Crawley ignorance of their own home, Thomas despair, Tom's winning the lottery of life, Mary facing her fear of cars...WHEW!!! Oh, and perhaps they finally are wrapping up the hospital nonsense....AND in case you missed the theme of this season the times, they are a-changin'...
Like a little street urchin invading Robert's bedroom, Jen Chaney and I describe, detect, and divine the deeper meanings on this ever progressing journey towards the end of Downton.
